Recipe: Spiced chocolate chip cookies

Hanging out with my best friend Carly one weekend we were struck by an overwhelming desire for dessert after eating our homemade pizzas. The only problem was it was late, there weren't any baking ingredients in the house and it was too cold to venture outside! So while we dreamed of chocolate chip cookies, our reality was hot chocolate instead.

The next morning I woke up and set about baking straight away to fill the craving that had sprung from our out-loud dreaming. Think spices and sweetness and that wonderful toasty smell of cookies baking. It's just bliss.
